Driving Growth in Michigan: Nexteer
In Saginaw, Michigan, automotive supplier Nexteer is adding jobs while gearing up to supply electronic power steering (EPS) to 90% of pick up trucks produced by Chrysler, Ford and GM. Replacing a hydraulic system, EPS delivers an additional four to six percent fuel efficiency, and will be a significant boost for manufacturers seeking to meet new fuel economy standards.
