John Adams joins thousands at White House to say NO to KXL pipeline

On November 6, 2011, a year away from the presidential election, more than 10,000 concerned citizens, activists, groups, and allies gathered to participate in the largest environmental demonstration of the Obama administration. Together, we encircled the White House three times around as an act of solidarity against the proposed Keystone XL pipeline.

NRDC Founder and Presidential Medal of Freedom winner John Adams returned to the White House that day to voice his concern and called it one of the most energizing days of his life.
